Assistant Business Controller

Responsibilities
As an Assistant Business Controller you are strengthening the Business Control team to ensure excellent support to the business in monitoring and achieving their budget targets and strategic objectives. You will ensure that all operational tasks are carried out in the most efficient and effective way and help the company get better insights and control. As part of the Business Control team, you personally engage to get our business control framework stronger rooted into our entrepreneurial organization.
Your specific tasks include:

Dedicated responsibility over specific BUs in following their performance, perform monthly analysis, and leading support in budget and estimate process;

Development of strategic performance monitoring and KPI reporting;

Development and maintenance of a high standard and driver based rolling forecast process to provide maximum insights to Board and BU managers on the impact of decisions;

Involvement in business report development within Tableau, including the validation of data and reporting according to the BC quality standard (‘BC stamp’);

Assessing and challenging business cases (as part of our project governance) according to the BC quality standard (‘BC stamp’).
Who are you
For this job they have a couple of requirements:

Bachelor or Master degree in (Business) Economics or Finance

At least 4 years of work experience

Good understanding of financial and business processes in B2B or B2C industries

Knowledge of Finance ERP, Tagetik and Tableau

Knowledge in business improvement projects

Fluent in written and spoken English
You have good analytical and conceptual skills. You are detail-oriented and maintain high standards in the output you produce. Taking initiative is one of your core qualities. You act proactively and communicate easily with colleagues on all levels in the organization. They are looking for a person who is ambitious and has the willingness to develop.
